November 2015 Progress - Sweaty Selfies

A month of new beginnings. I began a round of the 21 day fix and Shakeology. I was finally able to get a pair of sneakers that didn't cause my feet to fall asleep!! Yeah! I was able to add on mileage to my running and thank god for the combat breathing Brent taught me because I finally don't hyper ventilate when I am running! I went from running one mile to 3 in under a month and couldn't be more proud of myself!!

November 3, 2015...Ran down thru Woodlands and Panacea...it was very hot this day but I got it done!! I am definitely looking forward to some relief on this weather!! :)
 


November 11, 2015...this was my first 3 mile run. I wore my new sneakers for this run and it worked out great! I didn't get any shin splints and my feet never fell asleep! I need to get myself to drink more water though because I can definitely feel a difference when I don't get enough water into my system. My route for this run was starting from our house to the intersection at Toledo Blade and Price.
 


November 14, 2015...Finally some cooler weather!! Woke up this morning and wanted to get a run in and was pleasantly surprised to find the air was cool with very little humidity! FINALLY!! I was able to shave off 16 seconds from my avg pace which I was very excited about!! My route for this run was starting from our house to the intersection at Toledo Blade and Price.

October 2015 Progress - Sweaty Selfies



It was a month of craziness...dealing with the everyday stress of motherhood, work and trying to
get on track to build a new house. I knew that excuses were no longer going to get me what I needed out of life so I took the first step in making the changes in myself. Thankfully I have an extremely supportive husband and awesome support at work that keeps me going. I have been working out with Brent (work/family) for a while, he's been showing me the best way to attack things and teaching me not to give up! Hard work will pay off. I will be starting to track everything I do to not only help me stay accountable but to help me see the progress I am making!
